5 months of course
The course will span over 5 months and will discuss the clinic representation of remedies. Drug pictures will be based upon particular behaviours of remedies in clinic, there entry points, rule out points, characteristic symptoms in different age groups like in children, adults and old age.
Functional Materia Medica Discourse
We will talk about entry points through group analysis. We will discuss five major groups of
remedies in this course: Barytas, Acids, Magnesiums, Kalis and Natrums.
How the classes will work
Every month, we will have 2 classes for each group. In 1st class we will discuss general entry points of a group. In 2nd class, we will discuss the differentiation between different remedies of the group.
January - Group 1
Barytas
General characteristics, entry points, rule out points and differentiation from other groups. Understanding Baryta Carb, Baryta Mur, Baryta Iod, Baryta Phos and Baryta Sulph.
February - Group 2
Acids
General characteristics, entry points, rule out points and differentiation from other groups. Understanding Acid Phos, Acid Sulph, Acid Nitricum, Acid Mur, Acid Flour, Picric Acid and Carbolic Acid.
March - Group 3
Magnesiums
General characteristics, entry points, rule out points and differentiation from other groups. Understanding Mag Carb, Mag Mur, Mag Phos and Mag Sulph.
April - Group 4
Kalis
General characteristics, entry points, rule out points and differentiation from other groups. Kali Carb, Kali Mur, Kali Iod, Kali Phos, Kali Sulph, Kali Brom and Causticum.
May - Group 5
Natrums
General characteristics, entry points, rule out points and differentiation from other groups. Understanding Nat Mur, Nat Carb, Nat Phos, Nat Sulph and Nat Ars.

DR. AVTAR MAVI
Global classes coordinator, Dr. Avtar Mavi has more than 20 years of clinic experience in homeopathy, already teaches in EUA, Thailand, Brazil and India.
He has studied with Dr. Praful Vijayakar for 3 years. Besides that, he belongs to the traditional Mavi’s family of homeopathy’s physician, following decades tradition of humanitarian work.
